This website is operated by Unusual Attitudes, Inc., d/b/a Miami Gliders ("Miami Gliders," "we," "us"). By using miamigliders.com — including when you fill out a contact form, request a ride, purchase a gift certificate, sign a waiver, or read the weather page — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Miami Gliders is a glider-flight instruction and ride-experience business based at Homestead General Airport (X51), 28790 SW 217th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030. We operate under our liability insurance and under FAA regulations applicable to glider operations and instruction. Contact: fly@miamigliders.com.
The information on this site — including pricing, training schedules, weather, and aircraft availability — is provided for general information only. Pricing is subject to change without notice. Pricing shown on individual pages is the rate at the time of viewing; the rate applicable to your booking is the rate in effect when you fly.
The weather page draws data from public sources including the U.S. National Weather Service. It is provided as a courtesy for general soaring-condition awareness. It is NOT an aviation weather briefing, NOT a substitute for an FAA-approved weather source, and must not be relied upon as a basis for any pilot-in-command flight decision. For official preflight weather, use Leidos at 1800wxbrief.com, an EFB provider, or call Flight Service at 1-800-WX-BRIEF.
A ride request submitted through our contact form is a request, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when a member of our staff replies in writing (email or text) confirming the date, time, and aircraft. All flights are subject to:
We may cancel or reschedule any flight at any time, including on the day of the flight, if conditions are not suitable. We do not charge for flights we cancel.
Before any flight, every participant (and the parent or legal guardian of any minor participant) must sign our Liability Waiver. The waiver is a separate legal agreement that supplements these Terms. If anything in the waiver conflicts with these Terms, the waiver controls for the flight to which it applies.

The text, images, logo, and design of this site are the property of Unusual Attitudes, Inc. or our licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — copying, republication, training of machine-learning models, or commercial reuse — requires our prior written permission.
Anything you send us via a form (your name, message, signed waiver, photos, etc.) you confirm you have the right to provide. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use that information solely to operate our business — to respond to you, deliver the service you requested, and keep records required by law and our insurer. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
The site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uptime, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against unauthorized access.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Unusual Attitudes, Inc. and its officers, employees, instructors, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the website shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or liability addressed in your signed Liability Waiver, which controls the terms of any flight.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
The site contains links to third-party sites (e.g. SkySight, SoaringMeteo, the National Weather Service, Google Maps). We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Visit them at your own discretion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date above tells you when. For material changes affecting bookings or gift certificates, we'll post a notice on the homepage for 30 days.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect.
