Gift certificate questions

How much does a gift certificate cost?

Each certificate covers a specific experience rather than a dollar amount. Prices run from $150 for the 2,000 ft intro ride up to $400 for the 3-tow lesson package. The picker above always shows the current rate.

How long is it valid?

One year from the date we issue it. If it is not used in time, the amount paid is still honored toward the price of the chosen experience at our current rates, though additional payment may be required. Full wording is in section 6 of our Terms.

Is it emailed or printed?

Emailed, as a printable PDF with a scannable code and your personal message. On the request form you choose, for each recipient, whether the certificate goes straight to them or comes to you so you can hand it over in person.

How does the recipient book their flight?

They call (786) 243-7640 or email fly@miamigliders.com with the code on their certificate. The booking is confirmed once we reply with a date and time, and every flight depends on weather, aircraft, and instructor availability. Age and weight limits are on the FAQ.

Is it refundable or transferable?

Gift certificates are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and they cannot be exchanged for cash. Passing one to a different person needs our written consent first.

How do I pay?

Nothing is charged on this page. Send the request above and we call you within one business day to confirm the details and take payment over the phone. The certificate is emailed as soon as payment is in.
